Job Description: \n

Responsibilities\n

The ISSO will assist the ISSM in meeting their duties and responsibilities by conducting research, analysis, and creating documentation in support of creation of systems security accreditation and certification requirement packages in accordance with applicable Air Force regulations and procedures; to include the documentation of systems architectures and networks physical layouts in narrative and graphical representations. The ISSO's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.\n

Job duties: \n\nAnalyze, evaluate and recommend the application of Air Force systems accreditation and certification procedures for existing and planned AFCENT network architecture at Shaw AFB and supported bases.\nResearch, process and recommend approval Firewall and Bluecoat Exception Process requests for removable media for US and FNs.\nComplete accreditation documents for AFCENT as outlined by DISA Risk Management Framework (RMF), Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP), USCENTCOM, and Authorizing Official (AO) guidance to include documenting systems architecture and physical network layout in writing and graphical presentations.\nMaintain Enterprise Products List (EPL) and Accreditation Library for all approved products and systems and evaluate service level agreements.\nPrepare and process accreditation documents for AFCENT Cross Domain Solutions as outlined IAW DoD and USCENTCOM regulations.\nResearch, analyze and document AFCENT Information Assurance and Security polices IAW DISA, USCENTCOM, and USAF regulations and guidance; and assist in interpreting local policies.\nIn coordination with the Cybersecurity Operations Cell, track, document, and report all security related events, including, but not limited to, Discharge of Classified Information and Cross Domain Violations IAW USCENTCOM\/AFCENT policy and prepare relevant documentation for ISSM and AO review.\nImplement and enforce DoD Information System, Platform Information System (PIT) cybersecurity policies and procedures as defined by relevant DoD, Air Force, AFCENT, and CENTCOM cybersecurity-related documentation.\n\n

Qualifications\n\nSenior-level and higher- B.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant Information Security experience; OR 7 or more years relevant Information Security experience AND Firewall experience. Active TS with SCI Eligibility clearance required. CISSP and ITIL Foundation. \nMid-level or lower- Associates in related field and 3 or more years' relevant Information Security experience; OR 5 or more years of relevant Information Security experience AND Firewall experience. Active Secret Clearance required. Security+ and ITIL Foundation. \n\n
