Primary Skills- IT and Web Specialist, webmaster, helpdesk specialist.
Looking to engage an IT and Web Specialist that will maintain and update the agency’s official dc.gov website and ART(202) blog as webmaster and helpdesk specialist. The resource will work under the guidance of the Office Manager but must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
The resource will develop and maintain new technologies and databases on a project by project basis. They will also be responsible for monitoring and tracking online visitors through Google Analytics, Facebook and Twitter. The resource will advise on best practices to ensure synchronization of platforms and technologies agency-wide. They will implement and maintain live stream Commission meetings.
The resource will also provide the agency with day-to-day computer support, such as installing basic software and providing updates, and troubleshooting for Apple products in all departments. They will serve as primary liaison for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) to ensure proper implementation and ongoing maintenance of new technologies. The resource will explore and implement new uses of technology to achieve the agency’s goals.
The resource must be able to communicate problems/issues to customers in a non-technical manner and they must have strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
The resource will provide technical support to the Grants Database portal, grants department team members, application processes, and applicants and reviewers. They will also provide technical support to other databases within the agency and the staff that use them.
Administrative tasks include tracking computer-related orders and bills, maintaining license documentation and renewing upgrades and assisting the agency with technical issues.
The resource will also be expected to:

- Provide initiative for visual concepts and solutions
