Tri Pointe Homes is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group as an IT Architect/Developer - Mulesoft. Remote locations available in CA, WA, AZ, NV, UT, TX, SC, NC, MD, FL Position Highlights: As a MuleSoft Architect/Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, testing, debugging and deployment of MuleSoft APIs and Integrations. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide scalable and efficient integration solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, integration patterns and best practices, as well as strong technical skills in software development and architecture. Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and developers to understand the business requirements. Design, develop, and implement end-to-end MuleSoft integration solutions that meet business requirements, adhere to best practices and security standards. Implement integration patterns and practices to ensure scalability, reliability, reusability, and performance of integration solutions as well as appropriate exception handling. Execute unit tests, integration test, as well as end-to-end test for all the integration solutions. Configure and deploy Mule runtimes and applications to various environments (cloud, on-premises). Manage the end-to-end process of API Management, including lifecycle, versioning, and documentation using MuleSoft API Manager, while enforcing the security policies, access controls, and rate limiting mechanisms, and defining governance processes to ensure alignment with organizational standards. Enhance scalability and responsiveness of integration flows and APIs by optimizing performance. Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement tuning strategies to enhance overall system performance. Document technical designs, architecture diagrams, mapping documents, and deployment procedures to provide comprehensive guidance and ensure consistency throughout the development and deployment lifecycle. Develop and maintain the API specification, developer guide, and operational instructions to ensure clarity and facilitate seamless integration processes. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, steering them towards efficient problem-solving and effective collaboration. Conduct regular code reviews to uphold code quality standards and enforce adherence to coding best practices across projects Utilize MuleSoft's monitoring capabilities and/or external monitoring tools to continuously monitor the health, performance, errors and availability of MuleSoft applications and APIs as well as monitor the logs to help support business users and their requests. Set up alerts and notifications to promptly detect and respond to any issues or anomalies in system behavior. Respond to and resolve incidents related to integrations, effectively troubleshoot the issues, identifying root causes, implementing fixes, and restoring service as quickly as possible. Stay updated with the latest MuleSoft releases, features, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement and optimization of MuleSoft solutions. Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Must have 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting projects in Mule 4 with API Led Architecture, Mule API management, MuleSoft Product suite, and features. Experience with MuleSoft API management in OnPrem implementations is required. Proficiency in DataWeave 2.0 for data transformation. Hands on experience in Core web API, SOAP, REST, OData, XML, FTP, JSON, and authentication methods. Hands on experience in HTTP/DB/File/Salesforce/Web Service Consumer/Azure connectors, SOAP and REST Webservices, RAML, data formats – XML, JSON, Flat file, csv file. Hands on experience with MuleSoft MUnit and building automated test scenarios. Sound knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns. Experience in Mule Runtime upgrades, configuring API policies, Runtime Manager configurations. Must have experience with creating CI/CD pipelines for Deployments (Jenkins) and version control tool such as GitHub. Working knowledge of Logging framework (Splunk) is preferred. Integration with Enterprise One ERP system (JDE1) is preferred. Hands on experience with migration MuleSoft APIs from different Runtime and/or Java version is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and perform debugging and performance tuning. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders is a must. MuleSoft certification(s) such as MuleSoft Certified Developer and/or MuleSoft Certified Architect is a plus. Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is between $127,100-164,900 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday. Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
