About the team:      

This team is part Value Added Platform (VAP) is domestic eCommerce payment processor solution for US & Canada. It accepts payments from major card brands, ACH, mobile & digital wallets, gift cards, etc. It is US’s largest debit and credit card processor with average of 35 million mobile, online, and in-store payments per day. It also provides international merchants a “one stop shop” integration for global and US payment processing. Value added services provide merchants with the most advanced tools and data they need to increase and protect their revenue, reduces costs and grow with experts.

What you'll own

As part of an Agile team, you will contribute and support the team to deliver its commitments in a predictable way according to the SAFe definition and with the expected quality, working closely with each discipline within the Delivery Team (Product Owner, Development and Test) to ensure solution design and implementation is in line with the business requirements.

Work with business analysists and wider architecture team to define requirements for new business and technical problemsAnalyze requirements and architecture specifications to identify and propose technical solutionsCollaborate with engineering team to brainstorm and pick best solutions for a problem within the constraints of the systemProduce high level and low-level design artefacts that translate business and technical needs into clear solutionPeer review solutions of other designers in the teamWork closely with the delivery teams to ensure that solutions are understood and successfully realizedWork on Improving the technical architecture by tracking emerging technologies, evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirementsProvide solution design leadership and accountability for all your design workLiaise with stakeholders and external teams to research and fully explore the requirements and their contextAssist with investigation of live system issues and propose solutions to address the root causeContinuously review and improve delivery processes to enable high quality and fast deliveryUnderstands the system interfaces and interactions with other components of the platform; aligns his requirements with the outer systemsAttends all SAFe/Agile related ceremonials

What you bring

· 10+ years of experience in Java/JavaEE.Must have payment domain exposure

· Strong understanding of system architecture and general programming concepts and best practices and ability to lead solutions within them

· Working experience with different RDMS or DW (preferably IBM DB2) and SQL, PL/SQL language

· Experience in Spring Framework/Spring Boot Applications.

· Experience working on Unix/Linux system as primary OS

· Experience working on TomEE, Tomcat

· Experience in Distributed/Federated cache

· Experience of working across the whole software development & support lifecycle

· Sound understanding and experience of the Agile software development lifecycle

· Experience with different requirements tracking systems like JIRA or Rally

· Experience of working with onshore/offshore partner organizations

· Strong analytical skills, able to provide support to solve business or production problems

· Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical and non-technical issues

· Responsive, assertive and drive a continuous improvement ethos in all interactions

· Fluent English (written/verbal)

Bonus if you have:

Experience of working with message-based applicationsExperience working in monolith architecture with multiple inter-dependent modulesKnowledge of the global payments industry or a good understanding of payments transaction life cycle
