IT Architecture Senior Specialist -Monitoring and Data Quality Management

What you`ll do:

You’ll be part of a technical team with cross topics in the area of Data Quality Management (DQM) and Application/DB Monitoring.

In our responsibility is the meta data maintenance of all customer systems and the consistency in various internal tools. The meta data is then used by automated procedures or reporting and is key for a scalable and smoothly running operations for which the monitoring is a major part in.

This is where the two topics are coming together.

 

In your role, you will have touchpoints with several technical aspects of Data Quality and Monitoring. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the necessary data points in our Monitoring Systems as well in our central repository and your expertise will be essential during onboarding of new hyperscalers or data centers.

 

The role includes the following:

Data quality activities in our Monitoring Tools (SAP Focused RUN and Icinga) as well as in our central repository tool (Service provider Cockpit SPC) Defining necessary parameters for our monitoring together with the stakeholders Identifying and fixing root causes

          

In your day-to-day you will:

Alignment with various stakeholders Drive necessary tasks in case of data quality issues Validation of monitoring processes for new landscapes The creation and tracking of development requirements until final implementation in regards to Monitoring and DQM The harmonization of KPIs along the Monitoring & Data Quality Management process

 

What you bring:

Are you pro-active? You have the ability to inspire others and convince them to see opportunities instead of problems? You have strong problem analysis and resolution skills?

Knowledge of SAP basis technologies, Network/Web technologies and LINUX based infrastructures Background in Data Quality Management SAP Application and Database Monitoring knowledge End to end customer oriented view and analytical skills Basic understanding of ECS/Cloud based processes and operations is a plus

SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is building the bridge for SAP on premise customers towards the SAP Cloud. ECS Delivery is the operational organization and our XDU Delivery unit, of which you will be part, is responsible for many cross topics like Data Quality Mgmt, Process Mgmt, Security Mgmt, Application Monitoring and several other topics which are supporting the Operations.

Your team members and main stakeholders are in India and Germany.
