IT Asset Analyst

**Duties & accountabilities**
+ Candidates will be required to reach out to and work with the other groups within IT and external business stakeholders to ensure the overall success of the team.
+ The successful applicant will be required to work within a team structure as an individual contributor.
+ The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies, processes, toolsets and be comfortable working within multiple systems for data analysis.
+ Oversee the software and hardware lifecycles of IT assets across the company.
+ Work with various departments and teams within a decentralized organization to identify the software needs of each department and to determine the most suitable software solutions to meet their needs.
+ Manage the organization's server and user software inventory, ensuring that software is organized and tracked accurately, and that licenses and maintenance contracts are up to date.
+ Understands the monitoring effort for software deployments to ensure compliance with license agreements and to identify any potential licensing issues. Regular review and verification of software and hardware repository data is required to avoid negative impacts due to audits.
+ Ensure that hardware is properly disposed of in accordance with internal policies, including the removal of software from devices that are no longer in use.
+ Responsible for advocating for policies and procedures related to the acquisition, organization, and disposal of software assets, and for ensuring that these policies and procedures are followed by all employees in the organization.
+ Provides technical ITAM expertise to senior leaders and business stakeholders.
+ SAM and HAM project management and reporting.
**Minimum Experience**
+ Minimum 3 years of IT asset management experience.
+ ITAM certifications (CSAM, CHAMP, CITAM, ITAD).
+ Experience with software or hardware audits.
+ Experience or knowledge of Hardware Asset Management.
+ Experience in hardware device refresh activities.
+ Excellent communications skills and ability to present to and influence senior leadership.
+ Strong financial understanding through experience or education.
+ Strong analytical and leadership capability.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders.
**Preferred Experience**
+ Three years of software asset management experience.
+ Three years of hardware asset management experience.
+ Two or more ITAM certifications.
+ Directly managed 2 or more software audits.
+ Directly managed 2 or more hardware audits.
+ Exceptional communication skills.
**Experience of the following technologies:**
+ Service Now, Tanium, SCCM, SNOW, Intune, application packaging and distribution, Python scripting, and other ITAM related tools.
