About the Role

Responsible for managing information technology's assets and procurements

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software

Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software license to make sure they complied with vendor contracts in different software tools

Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) throughout their lifecycle

Manage inventory of CIs and assets, including dependencies and attributes), making sure that modifications, withdrawals, and additions of existing ones are correctly recorded by the teams in charge in the tools to ensure that the vendor contracts are complied with

Responsible for managing lifecycle of hardware and software models in the DML right from their introduction to their retirement

Manage activities concerning license compliance audits to be able to answer to requests from software editors effectively

Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management

Manage daily IT hardware/software request and issue Purchase Orders as needed.

Utilize tools and systems to communicate and collaborate effectively, while staying extremely organized.

Recommend new products, services, or materials in keeping with industry trends

Obtain quotes, compare and negotiate pricing;

Work within multiple email aliases in a high volume of communications and ticketing systems workflow;

Inform stakeholders of PO issuance and any other details regarding orders;

Build new relationships with key Technology vendors and follows required sourcing policies and procedures;

Manage existing vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner;

Performs other related duties as assigned;

Support ad-hoc reporting needs;

Mediate supplier issues and resolve disputes.

Minimum Job Requirements

Must have proven experience in planning and managing information technology assets. Three (3) or more years of experience in asset management in a technology environment.

Ability to manage time effectively in a high paced dynamic environment and capable of prioritizing work load to meet scheduling demands and timelines;

University degree in Business, Finance, IT (or related fields) are preferred

Ability to see “big picture" strategic view as well as process details.

Ability to work with various systems and data sources to gather and assimilate required information.

Very detailed oriented and reliable for accurate information.

Excellent English and Filipino communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and influencing skills

Must have proven experience in planning and managing information technology budget and asset

Three (3) or more years of experience in budget, accounting, or finance in a technology environment.

University degree in IT (or related fields) are preferred
