Complete Description:-
Seeking an Asset Management Analyst who will perform various duties relating to inventory receiving , classification, reporting, delivery and tracking of IT assets by using established procedures and/or software tools authorized by the agency.
The candidate will work on developing a full life cycle asset management process from purchase to decommission. The resource will also be required to liaison with the Accounts Payable and Accounting team to validate receipt of goods and transferring of cost to Fixed Asset.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include:-
• Ensure that all information related to hardware and software licensing are validated at point of receipt
• Work with the IT Software Assurance group at the agency to promote and adopt IT asset management policy
• Conduct and report software asset reconciliation and audit activities on a timely basis including financial, licensing, warranty, and maintenance/support contract information.
• Assist in the design and establishment of asset management policies and procures that address all aspects of software usage that ensure maintenance of compliance.
• Perform ad-hoc audits on received goods both physical and virtual.
• Effectively communicate asset management policies and promote awareness throughout the agency.
