IT Asset Management Analyst I

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Software Asset Management function is responsible for identifying the correct processing of software purchase transactions through to payment and deployment, including responsibility for the reconciliation and accuracy of all software/hardware assets purchased and inventoried.

SERVICE DELIVERY: 

Assist with LNRSG Software Asset Management process(es) by assisting in maintaining records related to software licensing, ad-hoc research and reporting associated with software entitlements.Ensure all software purchase requests are documented as required and all completed entitlement related records are provided to the ITAM Entitlements team.Assist in financial aspects of ITAM team within LNRSG, including (but not limited to) purchase order processing (, credit card reconciliation, coding to cost centers using respective financial systems.  For clarity, this role will not require any purchasing knowledge or skills. The processing of pre-agreed renewals/quotes will be required but this would not require any previous knowledge and will be trained as needed.  These tasks are admin tasks not a true purchaser task.Assisting in user email queries pertaining to ITAM activities within LNRSGActively updating status changes/information within the TopDesk ticketing system.Perform other related duties as assigned.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience in asset life-cycle management, process improvement and compliance.Working knowledge of the fundamental concepts and procedures used in a purchasing and asset management environment.Working knowledge of software licensing.Working knowledge of reconciling software licensing and software maintenance terms and conditions between procured rights and quantities with compliant deployment of software assets.Working knowledge of the procurement life cycle and best practicesExperience with Software Asset Management tools, such as: TopDesk, SNOW License, etc.Strong problem-solving with excellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, tenacious with ability to work independently.Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to detail.
