IT Asset Management Consultant
Position Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an experienced IT Asset Management Junior Consultant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with knowledge and experience in IT asset management to gain valuable hands-on experience and grow their career in the field. The Junior Consultant will work closely with senior consultants to assist in various aspects of IT asset management, including procurement, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and disposal. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Assist in the procurement process by researching vendors, obtaining quotes, and processing purchase orders for IT assets.
2. Support the deployment of IT assets by assisting with installation, configuration, and inventory management.
3. Monitor asset usage and performance to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
4. Assist in maintaining accurate records of IT assets, including asset attributes, locations, and ownership.
5. Provide basic technical support for IT assets, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
6. Assist in optimizing asset utilization and minimizing costs through regular reviews and analysis.
7. Contribute to the development and implementation of asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
8. Assist in the disposal process of retired assets, ensuring proper data sanitization and compliance with legal and environmental regulations.
9. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in IT asset management through continuous learning and professional development activities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and technology concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge on automation and innovation
• High interest on latest technology trends
• Knowledge of IT asset management tools and software is a must.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation or Six Sigma are desirable but not required.
