The IT Asset Management Senior Specialist will be responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of IT HAM policy, management, and maintenance of IT Hardware Asset lifecycle procedures from acquisition to retirement such as maintaining inventory of hardware assets, tracking their lifecycle, and coordinating disposal of assets and providing support for audits, while optimizing their use and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations. The incumbent should be working from the office and be flexible visiting R1 office locations whenever it is required.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the organization's IT assets, ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset information.Providing support in conducting audits and other activities related to asset transactions at R1 sites ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.Inventory Management (queue management, review and update AMDB as per the tickets, analyze data to identify anomalies and fix them). Track asset location, ownership, and status ensuring records are up to date.Should be proficient in using ServiceNow (preferably HAM Pro) tool to monitor and manage hardware inventories.Attend strategic meetings with stakeholders to address the issues and concerns of the organizations.Should be able to generate various reports using ServiceNow tool and MS Excel related to asset utilization, compliance reporting and able to lead the discussion with leaders.Manage relationships with hardware vendors and service providers.Ensure the security of hardware assets, including implementing controls to prevent loss, theft or unauthorized use and should be able to implement disposal policy considering the economic zone rules and regulations.Collaborate with IT teams, procurement, finance and other stakeholders to ensure hardware assets align with organizational goals.Provide training and support on hardware asset management processes and tools and act as point of contact for hardware asset related inquiries and issues.Continuously evaluate and improve hardware assets management processes and tools. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and efficiency and effectiveness of hardware asset management and able to translate them in Process documents.Required Qualifications:
At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technologyWith 5-8 years of work experience in IT Hardware Asset Management specifically.Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow tool and ITAM moduleAcquired skills in using MS Office applications like MS Excel is a must. Should be comfortable working with large set to data.Ability to analyze and interpret data related to hardware assets and make informed decisions.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholdersStrong attention to details and accuracy in managing hardware asset records.Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions to stop them from reoccurrence.Must have efficient time management skillsWorking in an evolving healthcare setting, we use our shared expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
