IT Asset Manager

The Amentum JETS II contract seeks to fill an **IT Asset Manager** position in the NASA Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) Division as a part of the JETS II Science and Exploration Department. This candidate must reside or be willing to relocated to Houston, TX for on-site work requirements at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, TX. We have an exciting opportunity for a **IT Asset Manager** to join the team. The **IT Asset Manager** will: + Be the primary Lab Manager, asset manager, and point of contact contractor for the Science Mission Operations Room (SMOR) + Schedule SMOR Lab use, ensure room readiness for mission operations, manage user access + Maintain content of SMOR lab internal webpages, SharePoint, calendars; track lab usage and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly status updates as required + Work collaboratively on IT operations in the Image Science Analysis Lab (ISAL), Imagery Operations Center (IOC), and Command Van, and Science Evaluation Room (SER) in JSC Mission Control Center + Operate and maintain video, audio, visual, and communications equipment in computer lab and field spaces + Adhere to all JSC Lab Manager responsibilities which include: lab safety, documentation, requirements, inventory, purchasing, equipment usage and upkeep, user training, and other duties as assigned + Participate in imagery and science surveys for International Space Station, Orion, and Artemis in simulations and real mission scenarios + Participate in mission operations, with may require unusual work hours (evenings, nights), which are scheduled in advanced + Work with various teams of scientists, engineers, and other professionals in science labs, test facilities, and in the field, in dynamic and occasionally time-critical environment + Advocate for lab usage across JSC and its partners, coordinate with stakeholders, provide tours of lab, educate interested users + Other duties as required **Requisition Qualifications:** This position has been posted at multiple levels.
