IT Asset Manager

Project Specific Responsibilities:

Lead the comprehensive management of assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposalDevelop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectivenessSupport, plan, and execute all technical refreshesAssist with exit clearance procedures to ensure the return of all assigned propertyDevelop a process that will track all hardware/software licenses, warranties, end of life reporting, shipping, and receiving of equipment, etc.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess asset needs, procure assets, and manage inventory levelsPerform regular assessments of asset condition, performance, and compliance with relevant regulationsCoordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of assets to prolong their useful life and enhance performanceMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of assets, including tracking changes, movements, disposals, and reconciliation of inventory recordsContribute to financial planning by providing insights into asset-related costs, depreciation, and forecastingGenerate detailed reports on asset utilization, bill of material, certification service request, virtual machine tracking, and financial impact for management review Minimum Requirements TCS304, T4, Band 7

Project Minimum Requirements:

Per contract requirements candidates must possess an Active Secret clearanceDue to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenshipThis contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime; candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call scheduleCandidates must reside within a commutable distance from Colorado Springs, CO and be available to work onsite at the customer’s discretion; this includes being on-site during the transition periodThis position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent7+ years of experienceExperience supporting IT Assets is requiredExperience in some or all the following:Asset management toolsMS Domain (DNS, DHCP, DFS, etc.)Microsoft Office Tools, such as Excel
