IT Audit Manager (Hybrid)

Position Summary:

The IT Audit Manager is responsible for overseeing and conducting audits of an organization's information technology (IT) systems, processes, and controls. This role ensures that IT operations are secure, compliant, and efficient.

Primary Accountabilities:

(Audit 80%) 

Coordinate with external auditors on the completion of the System and Organization Controls (SOC) audits, which includes being the first point of contact for questions and review of business line evidence provided.

Lead and assist the different business lines in providing the appropriate supporting documentation for the completion of the SOC audits. 

Manage the SOC audit process which includes hosting the monthly and weekly SOC report meetings and invoicing.

Develop and implement a risk-based IT audit plan to assess IT controls and identify areas for improvement.

Lead and manage a team of internal IT auditors in conducting IT audits.

Perform IT audits covering IT security (including cyber), IT service providers, disaster recovery, project management, access controls, data backup, and cloud computing.

Provide assistance in other Non-IT related audits that were defined in the annual audit plan.

Evaluate audit results and recommend improvements to IT controls, system implementation, and IT governance.

Identify and report on potential IT risks and control weaknesses.

Develop and implement new audit methodologies and tools to improve IT audit effectiveness.

Ensure IT audits comply with relevant IT audit standards and frameworks.

Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Oversee the professional development of IT audit staff.

Stay up-to-date on the latest IT audit best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies.

Risk (20%)

Assist in the completion of the enterprise-wide risk assessment.

Participate in IT risk assessments.

Gather and organize data to monitor and test effectiveness of key controls.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT auditing and SOC.

Experience leading and managing an IT audit team.

Strong understanding of IT security, controls, and governance frameworks.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Proficient in IT audit tools and methodologies.
