IT Auditor
Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking an IT Auditor to join their team. As an IT Auditor, you will be part of the audit department supporting various teams within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** IT Auditor **Location:** Jersey City, New Jersey **Pay Range:** $50-$55/hour **What's the Job?** + Participate in the planning and performance of specific audits including developing the audit scope and the audit program. + Conduct general controls reviews, system security audits, application reviews and pre-implementation reviews. + Perform integrated reviews to evaluate both business applications and process. + Perform risk assessments to determine the scope of the audit assignment. + Execute the audit work including the gathering and analysis of required data and information. + Prepare workpapers including Teammate+ automated workpaper application and drafting reports summarizing the results of the audit, + communicating audit results to auditee management, evaluating results of IS audit and system vulnerability tests and making recommendations for enhancements to procedures, controls, and administrative practices. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields. + 2 years of transferrable experience in the audit or information technology related field + Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement and discretion in handling confidential information. + Knowledge of current ERP’s applications (SAP, PeopleSoft), operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases (Oracle, MS SQL) and vulnerability scanning tools. + Ability to work onsite 5 days a week initially, transitioning to 4 days a week in Jersey City. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. + Gain valuable experience in IT auditing and compliance. + Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals. + Contribute to important projects that impact the organization. + Professional growth and development opportunities.
