Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an IT Auditor with experience performing audits during an SAP HANA implementation. Located in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will be primarily involved in executing comprehensive audits across various functions within the organization. You will be instrumental in testing internal controls, executing the annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing plan, and providing recommendations for improvements in business processes and controls. This is a 2-3 month contract position requiring a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, T, W, TH, in Irving, TX). IT Auditor with SAP Implementation experience: Responsibilities • Conduct operational, compliance, and financial audits across various functions within the organization. • Run an effective internal audit program to assess risk and evaluate internal controls. • Take the lead in the execution of the annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing plan, considering business and financial risks. • Develop insightful recommendations for enhancing business processes and strengthening internal controls. • Seamlessly manage expectations of internal audit management and business process owners during audits and projects. • Showcase thought leadership by asking insightful questions, offering solutions-oriented perspectives, and ensuring effective communication. • Carry out field audits, prepare audit findings, and draft recommendations for senior management and external auditors. • Test and document internal controls thoroughly. • Conduct audits of records and interviews with workers to ensure accurate recording of transactions and compliance with laws and regulations. • Analyze data to identify deficiencies in controls, duplicative efforts, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies or procedures. • Keep abreast of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) requirements and ensure field location compliance. • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Audit Program development and execution • Experience with Business Systems and their functional understanding - SAP and or SAP HANA implementation a must • Expertise in Application Controls and their assessment • Ability to document and communicate Audit Findings effectively • Strong understanding of Auditing principles and methodologies • Knowledge of Compliance protocols within the IT sector • Excellent Documentation skills for record keeping and reporting • Proven experience in IT Audit roles • Familiarity with executing and assessing IT audits • Understanding of IT Governance and its implementation • Knowledge of IT general controls and their application • Familiarity with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements • Experience with AS400 systems within a business environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
