Job Description:

CUSTOMER

Identify, recommend, source, negotiate and implement improvements/solutions (buy/build/reuse) to coordinate execution of IAM controls on our Azure Public Cloud platform, Office 365, GCP, and other SaaS Services.Influence IAM direction, foresee issues and gaps, identify solutions, and work comfortably with leading edge products that are untested/ unproven in the marketManage complex Azure deployments in load balanced service-oriented environmentMay help test, debug, and performance analyze and document environment componentsMaintain/Enhance integration with on-premises services, such as Ping Federate, Radiant Logic Virtual Directory, ActiveRoles Server, Active Directory, etcDevelop and configure environments from conceptualization through stabilization using various platformsMay design, implement and maintain an automated build and install/deploy process; develop and maintain GitActions/Terrafrom build scriptsTroubleshoot initial failures, coordination of resolution efforts and communication with appropriate membersWork with Architects to ensure that environment modifications interact appropriately, data conversion impacts are considered, and other areas of impact are addressed and meet performance requirements of the projectDevelop and recommend technical strategies and solutions to maintain and/or expand service levelsCollaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, vendors / outsourced partners to assess viability/priority of projects/initiatives and ensure issues are clearly communicatedLead / contribute to the project management processes conduct pre and post implementation reviewsIntegrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems interdependencies and reusability, and ensuring seamless deliveryEnsure appropriate security levels are established and maintained for processes, information exchange and system implementationsMaintain a strong external profile, contributing to leading edge initiativesAct as an expert resource providing insight and recommendations based on industry and technology trends, system strategy and design


SHAREHOLDER

Review, define, enforce and influence standards and appropriate quality measures/metricsEnsure systems and operational availability meets or exceeds negotiated service levels, and report results as requiredAdhere to existing processes/standards, business technology architecture, risk and production capacity guidelines; plan, monitor and escalate issues as requiredFollow standards, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and applicable Business Recovery Plans (BRP)Comply with well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and IAM frameworksAssist in the development/maintenance of comprehensive processes for prevention of issues and participate in problem determination and timely resolution of incidentsContinuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with emerging industry trends, new technologies and best practices in the external market that can contribute to delivering effective client solutionsDevelop/maintain expertise of system development methodologies, key business initiatives/issues, IT implications for systems/technologies and impact on business solutionsIdentify opportunities to minimize cost, provide recommendations and/or deliver corresponding strategic solutions to support cost effectivenessMay develop and/or contribute to negotiations of third party contracts/agreements

BREADTH & DEPTH

Working knowledge of:Authentication and Authorization protocols, both modern (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)IAM configuration and management with Google Cloud IdentityCICD framework and common DevOps tools and technologies used for orchestration, automated configuration, containers, and container orchestration. Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, SALT, Kubernetes, Docker, etc. is a plus.Scripting and Automation experience using native CLI, PowerShell, and/or Python.Hashicorp Vault / secrets management 

 

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

Undergraduate degree or Technical CertificateGraduate degree, preferred7+ years relevant experience
