Utility Programs and Services 
 

Location: Missouri or Kansas Remote Preferred (Remote – Home Office with Local Travel)

ICF is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work within a dynamic and highly innovative team environment in our Utility Programs and Services group. The Technical Business Analyst will support tasks within the software development cycle and be responsible for system data together with the business intelligence it provides. This position supports project delivery on IT projects for the energy efficiency and utility sectors and will contribute to a team that brings high-quality products and innovative solutions to our clients.

What you will be doing: 

Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools Communicate regularly and effectively with team members as to the status of various tasks, including leading status update meetings Work with stakeholders of IT systems to define the system requirements and assist in identifying the best design approach Develop an understanding of the client processes and procedures and help identify improvements relative to technology Understand the capabilities and application of ICF’s IT systems and support a team of senior technologists to deliver solutions for clients Be the first point of contact for users experiencing issues or requesting updates, provide one-on-one technical assistance and/or delegate tasks to the appropriate contact as necessary 

What we need you to have: 

Bachelor's degree (Candidates can substitute one year of experience for one year of a degree) 2+ years of experience in Information Technology Ability to write basic SQL, HTML, CSS scripts and code 2+ years of experience developing standard documentation, including requirement and design specifications, use cases, test plans and scripts and other supporting system documentation 2+ years of Experience with issue tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, SharePoint and/or Smartsheet Experience in MS Office products, such as Excel, Visio, Teams and PowerPoint

Demonstrated consulting experience Experience with testing software, tracking issues and working with developers to ensure that requirements are being met and a high-quality product produced Strong customer service focus, project planning, attention to detail and organizational skills Effective time management skills and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines Experience with content management systems, including user roles, configuration, and content editing Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment and to coordinate amongst diverse program stakeholders Experience/Exposure in the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors is a plus

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$58,430.00 - $99,331.00
