The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex business needs and describing the needs to assist in the design and development of information systems to meet the company’s needs. This role involves working closely with various departments to identify and resolve highly complex IT-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems and infrastructure.
As an IT Business Analyst, you will:
+ Manage the analysis and evaluation of complex business processes and/or IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
+ Mentor junior IT analysis to ensure work deliverables meet department and company quality expectations.
+ Design and implement efficient IT solutions to meet business requirements.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements.
+ Perform system testing and validation procedures.
+ Provide technical support and training to end-users.
+ Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
+ Maintain and update system documentation.
+ Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in management information system or related fields
+ Proven experience (3+ years) as an IT business analyst or a similar role.
+ Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and databases.
+ Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, SQL, or Python)
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Certified Information Systems Analyst (CISA).
+ Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
+ Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
+ Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
