The opportunity:
This IT Business Analyst role works closely with Management and Operational teams in evaluating business information systems, providing innovative IT solutions and preparing requirement specifications.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to business areas, investigating operational related problems/inquiries, and recommending and implementing solutionsDevelop business requirement documents and specificationsWork as directed by management team to research and document business issues involving workflow procedures and processesAnalyze data and work with management to develop creative solutions.Coordinate recommended process changes, enhancements and product implementations including test plans to ensure successful implementationAct as business unit liaison with other business units including Information Systems, etcAssume the role of technical expert responsible for developing and guiding more junior team membersIdentify and recommend staff training needs in response to process changes or new product/system implementationsUpdate assignments used for status reports, team communicationsIdentify and recommend staff training needs in response to process changes or new product/system implementationsShares best practices with other team members, thus ensuring consistency across BUs and channels in the way MANULIFE does business, and in its delivery of products and servicesShares information on projects with other team members to ensure interdependencies amongst work are identified and addressedHow will you create impact?
The role will directly report to the Product Delivery Head.
