Astellas is announcing an IT Business Analyst – Research Technology Enablement, opportunity at their Astellas Institute for Regenerative Medicine (AIRM) site in Westborough, MA.
Purpose:
We are currently looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our Research Technology Enablement Team in North America (Cambridge area). In this role, a position bridges the gap between scientists and Digital Technology to ensure that informatics solutions—such as data analysis platforms and raw data storage solution — enhance drug discovery processes and meet evolving team needs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between Business and IT stakeholders to define and document business processes and requirements including, but not limited to, data flow, data storage, application usability, reporting and analytics Lead efforts to capture business, technical, and data migration requirements. Lead testing to ensure implemented solutions meet requirements. Deliver functional, non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories, and user interface designs. Prepare business process documentation including end-to-end data flows, testing plans, test scripts, training, and communication materials. Generate current and future state process flow, data flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Utilize project management processes and tools to facilitate Project IT deliverables. Lead stakeholder and project team meetings to drive project and client needs, critical changes, and milestones forward. Prioritize effectively by meeting deadlines and offering fast turnaround times when requested. Work in complex and fast paced environments, while being able to drive progress to meet tight deadlines. Work with other Astellas IT engineering and vendor personnel to implement solutions. Author and develop training materials, “how-to” guides, and knowledge resources to facilitate user adoption of new technology.
