IT Business Analyst
We are seeking an accomplished and versatile IT Business Analyst to serve in the Research and Development Space. This position is central to leading initiatives in developing technology to meet the needs of scientists. The role demands proficiency in business and process analysis, requirements engineering, data modelling, and the creation of precise user stories for the development team.
The Opportunity:
Conduct comprehensive analyses of business processes to pinpoint areas for optimization.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand challenges in creating a data foundation to enable data sharing, analytics and generating insights across the value chain of R&D.
Develop and maintain intricate data models to support system functionality.
Collaborate closely with data architects and engineers to ensure data integrity, scalability, and conformity with industry best practices.
Apply Agile methodologies, including SAFe and Scrum, to optimize product development processes.
Foster a collaborative, iterative, and customer-centric approach within the product development lifecycle.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably in Information Technology, advanced degree is a plus.
Understanding how a Laboratory works.
Understanding how to research and development value chain looks like.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or in a similar capacity within a technology-driven environment.
Strong expertise in business analysis, process analysis, requirement engineering, and data modelling.
Familiarity with the data platforms and data mesh solutions, background in AWS is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for facilitating workshops, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and crafting user stories.
Proficiency in requirement engineering methodologies and tools, especially Jira, CodeBeamer, Aha, Lucid or similar.
Knowledge and experience in incorporating and enhancing testing capabilities.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe and Scrum.
