The Opportunity

As IT Analyst you will be the primary liaison between the IT and business areas. Provides direct support to assigned business area. Works directly with clients and applies IT and business knowledge and experience to develop and understand the business case and business requirements to solve for technology related business problems. Leads department level initiatives or provides assistance to Program or Project managers on phases of a larger project.

This position works out of our Arecibo location in the CRM division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats. 

What You’ll Do

Assist in business relationship management, business strategy and planning, portfolio/demand management

Provides support to existing applications to resolves business issues, technical problems, and report needs.

Primary liaison between the IT and business areas

Maps current processes to the desired state and identifies improvements alternatives.

Coordinates all Validation activities for applications requiring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.

Communicates effectively with peers and management. Participate on Global BTS meetings and local Business meetings.

Ensure compliance with all Abbott procedures including all applicable regulatory agency requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience, including minimum of 2 yrs. of experience on SAP Applications support and 1 year on MES (Manufacturing Execution System)

Experience in Data Analysis Tools and Business Applications

MS Office proficient.

Excellent analytical skills

Proficient in English and Spanish.

The base pay for this position is $53,300.00 – $106,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
