Job Description: IT Business Analyst II

The IT Business Analyst II partners with business leadership to understand and clearly define their challenges and opportunities, and to recommend technology solutions that address them. They act as a liaison between the various internal and external stakeholders, and service providers, to drive change and implement technology solutions.

Responsibilities: IT Business Analyst IIGathers business requirementsProduces system designs and technical specificationsConfigures softwareDesigns data conversions, integrations, reports, and enhancementsTests technology solutionsTrains key stakeholders such as support personnel, system administrators, and end usersMaintains and supports business softwareDevelops and maintains a detailed understanding of:How application software has been configured and integrated to support business needsDatabase structures, data use, process inputs and outputs for his/her responsible functionsBusiness function’s policies, practices, procedures, and deliverables, supported by systems for which he/she is responsibleTechnology trends and solutions in the market that may be leveraged to meet the organization’s goalsActs as project manager and subject matter expert for technology projects within his/her portfolioCommunicates with application users to address incidents, fulfill requests, administer changes, and resolve problems, as per established technology policies and best practices Qualifications

 

Qualifications: Help Desk TechnicianBachelor’s DegreeThree years of experience as Help Desk Technician, Instructor/Trainer, or Equivalent Role in Business FunctionExcellent communication and presentation skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environmentWell versed in the industry and the Company’s competitorsExcellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary
