IT Business Architect - REMOTE
**Salary Range** : $79,400 - $119,200 Annual **Job Details** The stated pay range is based on a national average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is bonus-eligible. CNO Financial Group’s IT Team is hiring an IT Business Architect to collaborate with the Principal IT Business Architect to design and implement innovative solutions that bridge CNO's strategy with execution. This role supports business delivery efforts and works closely with business relationship directors, architects, analysts, subject matter experts, and implementation teams to identify, assess, and articulate business challenges, driving effective and efficient solutions. The IT Business Architect is responsible for creating high-level scoping and business context diagrams, cross-functional perspectives, problem statements, and capability heatmaps. The CNO IT vision is to achieve TechHappiness for both our business partners and IT associates. **As an IT Business Architect,** **your responsibilities will include:** + Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to identify and prioritize business needs, challenges, and opportunities + Facilitating and driving conversations to help define high-level business context diagrams, concept diagrams, cross-functional views, problem statements, process mapping, and capability heat mapping + Synthesizing and summarizing information across the organization and articulating using presentation tools + Ensuring that business initiatives and projects align with the strategic objectives of the organization + Developing and maintaining business architecture artifacts, such as business capability models, value streams, capability maps, and business scenarios. + Performing business scenario-based capability heatmapping based on business pain points, challenges, and future state opportunities + Analyzing and documenting the current and future state of the business capabilities, functions & processes + Providing input and feedback to initiative roadmaps, solution designs, and development teams to ensure alignment with the business objectives + Supporting the implementation and testing of the solutions and monitoring the business outcomes and benefits. + Contributing to the continuous improvement of the business architecture practice, standards, and tools. **The IT Business Architect position is well-suited for you if you:** + Have knowledge of business architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools, such as BIZBOK or ArchiMate + Possess strong analytical, creative, problem-solving, and listening skills + Are a self-starter who is comfortable in an agile environment. + Have a high level of professionalism – especially in verbal and written communication. + Can take direction from peers and managers to perform initial analyses autonomously and easily accept additional direction and constructive feedback when work product is reviewed. + Can produce and participate in the requirements gathering, design, and implementation of analytical deliverables, focusing on underwriting projects. **What you’ll need:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. + Up to 3 years of experience in a business architect, business analysis, or similar role. + Willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours **What will set you apart:** + 5 years of experience in a business architect, business analysis, or similar role. + Membership in the Business Architecture Guild + The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment + Being detail-oriented, methodical in problem-solving approaches, and able to quickly learn and adopt organizational processes The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: + Medical insurance + Dental insurance + Vision insurance + 401(k) retirement plan with company match + Short-term & long-term disability insurance + Paid time off and corporate holidays, + Paid parental leave + Company-paid life insurance Click on this link for additional information.
