The role will involve utilizing SAP BI technologies (BW, HANA, SAC - SAP Analytics Cloud) to analyze data and provide actionable insights. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining BI solutions, troubleshooting issues, and developing technical specifications. Additionally, the role requires working on agile projects and integrating new technologies like BW4HANA and Datasphere.
Responsibilities
Provide BI (Business Intelligence) consultation to Clariant businesses by analyzing cases, identifying requirements via ServiceNow, and supporting projects across development cycles. Align priorities with team leads to meet business needs. Support applications by resolving incidents, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing technical specs. Plan, design, and implement BW (Business Warehouse), HANA (High-performance Analytics Appliance) native, and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) solutions. Manage service orders and projects by assessing new business requirements and ensuring alignment with IT standards. Collaborate with requestors and project managers while adhering to policies and improving processes. Oversee documentation and training, prepare relevant materials, and ensure professional skills are up-to-date.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science. Minimum 5 years of experience in converting business needs into IT solutions. Proven experience in Business Warehouse (BW) development and maintenance. Expertise in BW4HANA (Business Warehouse High-performance Analytics Appliance) / Datasphere and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud ) report design required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stay informed about current and emerging IT needs, trends, and technologies to effectively address business requirements. Proficient in understanding and addressing diverse stakeholders' perspectives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams. Strong skills in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Experience with at least one SAP module (e.g., PP, MM, SD). The desired candidate should be interested to work in EMEA shift (office timings - 11:00 am to 8:00 pm)
