This role is for someone who is a strong analyst with good organizational skills and enjoys solving complex business and process challenges; has experience in building robust and high-quality solutions, has excellent communication skills and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. **The Role:** The IT Business Lead Analyst in the Confirmations domain, is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning. **Responsibilities:** + Collaborate with prospective and operational and business users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into technology product requirements. + Define a vision for the team’s product and maintain a cohesive vision throughout the SDLC process. Create a product roadmap based on this vision. + Managing the product backlog and prioritizing the tasks based on challenging and often competing requirements. + Active participation in stages of the technology product creation; during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects + Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process; Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment + Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives + Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standards + Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions + Supervise day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching and other duties and functions as assigned + Working with the wider product team and end users to deliver updates and status reports and active participation in all scrum activities and product sprints. **Experience:** + Extensive experience in product companies as product owner/manager. + Experience delivering strategic change programs spanning multiple years in a fast paced, financial product company. + Adept in agile practices and strong ability to develop, manage and continuously prioritize backlog. + Product knowledge of OTC Derivatives or related domain, especially Confirmations, is a plus. + Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively add product impact to both strategic and tactical technology + Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis + Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle and agile practices for software development and delivery. + Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis. **Education:** + Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.
