JOB SCOPE/ SUMMARY:
Act as a primary liaison between the IT department and the functional business department heads.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works closely with these business leaders to deliver a holistic IT/SAP applications strategy for the business, with focus on providing required functionality and reliability. Manages the SAP Finance and Analytics Teams to ensure proper SAP support is delivered to the business in a timely and effective manner.Oversee all areas of IT projects carried out within the associated functional business area.Understand capabilities of technology and propose appropriate application of that technology to solve business problems or exploit business opportunities.Interface with internal and external auditors as necessary to maintain full compliance with all policies, procedures, and corporate controls.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Ten or more years of professional work experience in the Finance and Analytics domainsMinimum five years of professional work experience supporting SAP Finance & Analytics applicationsFour-year degree in a computer-related or finance/business-related field, or equivalent work experienceMaster’s degree in a computer-related or finance/business-related field is desiredRelated industry certifications (e.g., CPA) or equivalent work experienceKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to design and implement processes within the SAP FI and BI applications as well as other systems integrating with SAPAbility to plan, scope, and execute major projects in global ERP systemPossess strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with all levels of personnel within the company, internal and external customers, and suppliersAbility to manage all aspects of day-to-day responsibilities of business analysts and/or project managersKnowledge of industry best practices in software development and supportAbility to oversee all aspects of project management and application of industry best practicesSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
