As an IT Business & Technical Analyst within BCG’s HR Integrations team, your initial focus will be on the HR data integration strategy and performing technical analysis to implement Workday’s Time Off module. Your primary responsibility will be to gather requirements, analyze, and design integrations between the Workday Time Off module and various internal systems.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with functional teams, development teams, testing teams, and our implementation vendor. This is a key leadership position in a multi-phase global implementation, beginning with the rollout of Time Off functionality to approximately 25 countries. You will also continue to support subsequent phases (Phase 2 and Phase 3), expanding the rollout to additional countries.

Strong experience working with HR systems, particularly in the HR domain, and supporting SaaS applications like Workday. Experience with application configurations and ensuring seamless integration between SaaS solutions and other internal systems is essential. Proven ability to gather business requirements from users and stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements for system implementation and enhancements. Experience leading requirements, design, and configuration workshops for implementation and enhancement projects, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions. Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills, especially in the context of large corporate HR applications and data integrations. Expertise in implementing and managing Workday Time Off preferred, including creating detailed specification documents for system modifications, handling integrations, and supporting technical components related to the platform. Experience working in a global environment, managing complex, multi-country implementations, and understanding regional variations in HR practices and system requirements. Experience working with confidential data, with an understanding of data security practices and privacy regulations (such as GDPR), especially in the context of HR systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with users, provide a high level of customer service, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in technical support, software development, or HRIS roles, preferably in a large corporate environment.

Scrum Leads: Acting as your right hand, they will help remove impediments and support you in managing the various Agile artifacts and ceremonies. IT and Functional Leadership: Partner with leadership from the implementation team to understand the needs and processes of their functional areas, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical solutions. HR IT Team Members: Collaborate with the broader HR IT team, including the Workday Delivery Team and other squads across the HR Product Portfolio, to drive the successful delivery of projects. Global HR Stakeholders: Work with global HR stakeholders to prioritize, document, and test changes or enhancements to existing systems, ensuring they meet business needs. QA Teams: Coordinate with QA teams to test and validate new integrations or enhancements, ensuring high-quality implementations and system performance.
