IT Change Management Coordinator

Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid

This is a Hybrid position onsite three days a week in The Woodlands, TX, Little Rock, AR, Jackson, MS or New Orleans, LA. Relocation assistance and sponsorship is not provided.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Performs a wide variety of data analyses under general supervision managers and senior manager. Including communicating budget, O&M and Capital; requesting purchase and contract orders, payment processing including tracking of purchasing card.  Ability to work independently and with others.  Ability to work on multiple assignments with minimal supervision.  Flexible and willing to adjust to changing priorities.


JOB Duties

Research assigned portions of a project, documents source(s) and works with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of department to ensure relevancy.       Recognizes data inconsistencies and irregularities and reports issues to consultants or managers.  Supports the review of functions and structures of business area to avoid overlap and duplication.  Documents analyses using a consistent methodology and nomenclature to ensure that analyses are preserved for future use.     Performs quality control analysis to ensure accuracy and rationale.  Coordinate meetings with IT and Business stakeholders for change communications and tracking Application Service owner approvals. Provide administrative support for Management team.  Coordinate, plan and schedule maintenance and software modifications through facilitating the IT Change Management Process for the Data Network Team.  Conduct business and analytical studies to integrate business needs into system-wide development plans.  Maintain and track Capital and O&M Spend, including working with vendors to obtain quotes, place orders and track to completion. Tracking O&M actuals and forecasting future O&M spending for Data Network group.  Participating in monthly PE conference calls regarding this activity.  Submit requests for contracts/purchase orders as needed (O&M and Capital).    Support the Data Network department by completing contract requests for Blanket Contract orders.  This includes inputting Contract Requisitions, merging contracts and sending for customer and internal signatures.  Returning executed blanket contracts to customer for work to be performed.  Perform contract management activities per established system policies and procedures related to setting up new contracts, maintain existing contracts including contract ceiling management, review, and processing of contractor/vendor invoices for accounts payable requirements, and or material receiving as required for purchases and administering contract releases as requested by management for approval of work.  During major storm events, support the Data Network Team.   Process vendor payments for CPC related purchases including reconciling the CPC purchases per the system policy requirements. 


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

IT Specialist II: Bachelor’s degree in technology or business and 2+ years of relevant IT experience is required, or in lieu of a degree 6+ years of relevant IT experience is required. IT Specialist Sr: Bachelor’s degree in technology or business and 4+ years of relevant IT experience is required, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant IT experience is required. Experience or formal training in change management processes, and other compliance driven processes is a plus.   The IT Specialist must demonstrate knowledge/experience in change management process utilization, in-depth Microsoft Office skillset including Excel, and Access Database utilization. Knowledge of SNOW workflow management software is also important. Successful candidate should be highly organized and have served in roles that require attention to detail and routine task scheduling and tracking and reporting. Ability to analyze data and run reports to track key metrics to ensure compliance is also very important. Experience in vendor relationship and contract management. Familiarity with business operations, financial planning, regulatory, and best in class technology landscape Specific and direct experience with network technologies Experience with developing relationships with business partners/customers. Experience in delivering large complex technical projects/programs.
