IT Cloud Specialist (Sales Engineering)

The IT Cloud Specialist will assist in the support and administration of the software components of the Tungsten Automation Corporation IT Cloud technology stack. Successful candidates will provide first-class system operation and support of the Tungsten Automation Sales Engineering cloud environments, demonstrating technical maturity and professional communication with team members, management, other department personnel, third-party vendors, and partners. The role requires effective teamwork and the ability to apply technology to support the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities Cloud System Management Install, integrate, and maintain security systems and support new and existing multi-tenant corporate cloud systems related to Azure, AWS, and O365. Oversee and maintain demo environments for Tungsten Automation products, including TotalAgility Cloud, RPA Cloud, SignDoc, Azure VMs, Docker containers / Kubernetes, functions, storage, and VMs in Skytap. Ensure systems are backed up and able to be restored if needed (Azure/Skytap as Cloud Services manage the main environment backups). Plan for and deploy new capabilities/infrastructure as needed to showcase new product innovations. Manage license keys, including requests and updates as needed. Manage user accounts, app registrations, permissions, and access rights within Azure Active Directory and On-premises Active Directory. Create and maintain diagrams, knowledge articles, and other documentation as it relates to systems configuration. Security Management Regularly review and update security measures to safeguard all demo environments. Configure and maintain Single Sign-On following IT guidelines. Ensure encryption, monitoring, bastion access, and access control guidelines and best practices are followed. Securely maintain password storage and ensure regular key rotation. Define & maintain Azure policies for departmental administrators. Operational and Administrative Tasks Perform routine administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations of demo environments. Check service desk database for entries on SE environment issues; prioritize and respond to help desk tickets as appropriate. Provide follow-up services to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues. Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques required for improved work operations. Document SE systems procedures, practices and processes. Create and maintain AI Services & LLMs deployments as needed for Proof of Concepts & demonstrations. Continuous Improvement and Technical Support Continuously evaluate and improve the demo environment setups based on feedback and evolving technology trends. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in the demo environments to minimize downtime and ensure continuous availability for demos and PoCs. Create support tickets and oversee escalations as needed (both internal and with 3rd party vendors like Azure). Training and Documentation Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and provide training for the usage of demo environments. Document environments, naming conventions, networks, and architecture. Define and maintain best practices guidelines and governance processes. Usage and Spend Reporting Monitor and report on resource usage and financial spend across demo environments. Analyze and optimize the allocation and utilization of demo environment resources. Asset Harvesting and Production Deployment Maintain a library of reusable demo assets, templates, and integrations. Classify demo assets, identifying demos that need to be published to production (“tier 1” demos). Ensure all reusable assets (code, packages, CSS, templates, and associated presentation and documentation content) are stored and secured in source control (GitHub). Define, own, and operate DevOps processes for presales, including automation of processes to package, test, and deploy “tier 1” demos into production and partner environments.
