The IT Compliance team safeguards AllianzGI’s IT by raising awareness and educating on binding requirements, translating regulation into relevant controls, tracking implementation progress, ensuring adherence and monitoring operational and regulatory risk. The team acts as a strong link between the 1st and 2nd line of defence. The IT Compliance Manager directly reports to the Head of IT Compliance and is part of the Enterprise Services Function in the COO division.
This position will be based in Frankfurt.
What you will do
• Design and implement a sustainable IT compliance framework for third party ICT service providers
• Run the framework by reviewing and negotiating IT controls with the most important ICT service providers, perform assurance activities (review reports, interviews, sample checks, on-site inspection, etc) in line with the service’s risk level
• Tightly integrate the framework with the overarching third party risk management model to ensure that IT compliance considerations are embedded during the decision, implementation, operation and exit phases of an ICT service
• Extend IT compliance requirements in the standard contract language in collaboration with the IT Legal team
• Provide regulatory compliance reporting to senior management
What you bring
Required
• Excellent university degree in IT, Engineering, Compliance, Law or related field of study
• Deep knowledge of national and international regulatory IT requirements in the financial services industry
• Expertise in analysing, implementing and supervising regulatory requirements in the IT control system
• Experience with IT service contracts and IT provider oversight
• Experience in running (international) projects or programs as well as introducing and leading change
• A proactive and client-centric approach, combining diplomacy and assertiveness
• Excellent communication skills to be applied in conveying impactful recommendations to senior management/ partners
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with various teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
Preferred
• Experience in designing and implementing third party risk management for IT service providers would be highly beneficial
• Further languages would be highly beneficial
• Experience in planning and performing IT audits would be beneficial
