Detailed Job Description:

Running Discovery exercise with business stakeholder to identify probable Use Case for Data Science exploration. Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques Data mining using state-of-the-art methods Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis of structured and unstructured data. Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms Combine models through ensemble modeling Present information using data visualization techniques Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges Collaborate with engineering and product development teams. Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance Identify problems, develop ideas and propose solutions within different situations requiring analytical, evaluative or constructive thinking in daily work Provide accurate and consistent status reports to clients and other stakeholders Strong Communication skills for client and other stakeholder management

Requirements and Qualifications:

6+ years of business/technology work experience 3+ years of Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis Understanding of machine-learning and operations research Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop) Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects Analytical mind and business acumen Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra) Problem-solving aptitude
