Analysis/development: implement the algorithm and data structure required in the business layer as per the requirements. Develop project components. Perform unit testing, peer code review and commit code to repository. Deploy it for validation with help of any continuous integration tool. Qa validation / sign off: the main aim here is to make sure that the software meets the customer's needs without harming the application. The formal way of declaring this process is sign off. The qa can acknowledge that they have reviewed and tested the application and now the application is ready to release.
