Detailed Job Description:

Understanding Server build process and Patching best practices. Identify dependencies and risks Finalize the patching roll out plan Check for any special instruction for the patches - like reboot or application shutdown Analyze any adverse effect on the application or OS Schedule UAT deployment and deploy dev and test servers Analyze deployment report and analyze performance impact Develop process, procedure document, for deployment and roll - back Develop the deployment plan for production Follow change management process Decision on go/no go, involve Stakeholders during deployment Keep the track of the success or failure. On failure roll back procedure to be followed Roll back is triggered in the event of unforeseen problem during deployment Report all the stake holders about the successful implementation Report about the performance of the OS and any abnormality if observed On failure Update the reason/RCA of the failure Create SOPs Comments/advise/recommendations
