IT Contract Manager, Supply Chain - Contracting and Sourcing - Full Time

The IT Contract Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts related to IT goods and services, with an expanded scope to include critical functions within the Revenue Cycle. This role supports key IT and Revenue Cycle functions by negotiating contracts that secure competitive pricing, terms, and conditions across hardware, software, cloud services, telecom, IT consulting, and services impacting revenue cycle processes. The manager will also evaluate Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts, vendor agreements, and identify savings opportunities, collaborating with IT leadership, department heads, and other stakeholders to standardize procurement processes, optimize spending, and drive cost reductions.

 

This position will play a key role in aligning IT and Revenue Cycle strategies, ensuring that procurement and vendor management processes are streamlined and fully support both operational and financial goals.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategic Procurement: Bring a strategic focus to IT and revenue cycle procurement, partnering with IT leadership and other stakeholders to identify and execute cost-saving initiatives that optimize spending, enhance service delivery, and streamline procurement processes. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate high-volume contracts for IT hardware, software, cloud services, consulting, including revenue cycle software solutions, leveraging ProMedica’s purchasing power to secure best-in-class pricing, terms, and conditions. Implement contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance and performance. Alignment with Organizational Goals: Attend IT steering meetings to stay aligned with overall strategy, project needs, and priorities, ensuring contract decisions support organizational goals across departments. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and revenue cycle software providers, negotiating contract terms while maintaining professionalism and ensuring ProMedica’s procurement needs are met. RFP Preparation: Prepare detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for IT and revenue cycle products and services, outlining specifications for pricing, delivery, support, and other value-added services. Evaluate vendor proposals using quantitative analysis to select the best overall value and develop final contract documents. Contract Oversight: Oversee a portfolio of IT and revenue cycle contracts, ensuring agreements are accurately managed within the supply chain ERP system and that contract data is consistently updated and maintained. Cross-Departmental Support: Provide contract interpretation and support to IT and revenue cycle teams, ensuring maximum utilization of negotiated agreements. Present contract-related findings to committees and senior leadership as needed. Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, revenue cycle, and supply chain teams to support procurement, vendor management, and contract administration, particularly within IT and revenue cycle categories. Process Standardization: Lead system-wide initiatives focused on standardizing procurement processes for IT and revenue cycle contracts, identifying opportunities for efficiency, and driving product or service standardization. Present solutions to ProMedica’s senior leadership team. Special Projects: Assist with special projects and strategic planning efforts related to IT procurement and contracting.
