IT Cost Transparency Leader
**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **IT Cost Transparency Leader** to join our team specializing in **Technology Business Management (TBM)** preferably located in Columbus, IN, Indianapolis, IN, or a location within proximity of other Cummins sites could be considered. The **IT Cost Transparency Leader** role requires close collaboration with IT and Finance professionals throughout the organization and involves leading a team to deliver consistent and professional business planning and management services for Technology Operations. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Interprets, evaluates, analyzes, and presents financial data to management. + Partners with senior management to deliver financial results and provide plans and analysis with recommendations. + Drives maximum value and benefits from IT Cost Transparency and Technology Business Management (TBM). + Provides cost transparency and analytics services for the Chief Information Officer (CIO) Leadership Team. + Configures and matures the TBM model and reporting based on roadmap priorities and customer use cases. + Gathers, validates and ingests required data as scheduled. + Expands the TBM Model to support organizational priorities and maintains documentation. + Promotes usage and adoption of TBM and Apptio across Technology and business areas. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + **Business Partnering:** Collaborates with stakeholders and develops partnerships to drive performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies; influences the organization by demonstrating knowledge of the business to provide guidance to support the decision-making process and guiding the business towards positive results and organizational alignment; evaluates business environment using measures to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities. + **Communicates effectively:** Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. + **Manages complexity:** Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. + **Manages conflict:** Handling conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise. + **Optimizes work processes:** Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. + **Strategic mindset:** Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies. + **Values differences:** Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization. + **Financial Analysis:** Interprets financial data by analyzing trends, variances, opportunities and risks to provide insight to stakeholders regarding financial impact to drive business improvement; evaluates financial results against targets to communicate conclusions to all stakeholders. + **Financial Reporting:** Analyzes financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions; prepares and presents financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations; partners with stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education/Experience** + Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business, Management, or related field. Preferably an MBA or graduate degree in a business-related field. + Position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. + IT Systems Management knowledge - Knowledge of the asset and process management practices, requirements, and support services for the IT function. + Broad business knowledge required. + Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial and budgetary experience. **Compensation** Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
