IT Customer Applications Support Specialist

Job Summary

The Customer Application Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the ongoing Information Technology needs of Cirrus customers. The position provides guidance for all aspects of externally facing end-user computing and provides timely solutions to customer problems to ensure end-user satisfaction. Responsible for documenting solutions to problems and providing feedback to internal teams. The position has superior troubleshooting capabilities, and outstanding customer service and support skills. Customer Application Support Specialist serves as a subject matter expert for multiple customer technology solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. 

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Maintains knowledge in end-user computing technologies and Cirrus customer technologies.  Keeps current with advancements in the field of end-user computing technologies.  Creates and manages Service Requests, Incidents, and Problems through a ticketing system.  Provides assistance to Cirrus Customers regarding the use of Cirrus technologies.  Manages multiple requests at one time with exceptional follow through.  Must be open to flexible work hours in a 24x7 environment.  Troubleshoot customer problems over the phone, during normal business hours, as well as provide after-hours phone support as assigned.  Maintains a professional demeanor for in person customer support.  Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Associate's degree in computer related field or equivalent education and experience  Basic information technology (IT) skills.  Experience providing technical support preferred  ITIL Foundation Certification is preferred  Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak the English language  2 year experience with Microsoft Windows and Office environments required.  Required customer service experience. Knowledge, experience, or expertise of high-end customer service.  Experience with Apple iOS is required  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
