What will you do?

IT Delivery & Commercial Manager is responsible for developing and executing IT (Information Technology) delivery and strategic Workforce functions in alignment with the Aurecon Blueprint.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

Oversee the end-to-end IT delivery approach in a fast-paced IT environment ensuring alignment with agile methodologies and new ways of working.

Design, implement and lead across core functions:  

IT Project Management (PMO) to ensure successful scoping, design, execution, governance, and closure of IT projects.

Quality Assurance processes that uphold the quality of IT deliverables and services.

Service Design and Transition to ensure seamless integration of new services into the existing IT environment.

IT Commercials including vendor contracts, new purchases and renewals, budgeting, and cost optimisation initiatives.

Workforce planning to optimise delivery and design strategic approach to workforce management.

Drive delivery processes, resources, and timelines to ensure KPI’s are met, and projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to enable IT to meet business goals and objectives.

Identify, manage and mitigate risks associated with IT delivery and commercials, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Develop and lead strategic communications with leaders across IT and Aurecon Broadly on projects, services and commercial activities.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:  

Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

8-10+ years’ experience in IT project management portfolio governance, quality assurance, service design, workforce management and IT commercials. 

Experience in end-to-end IT delivery with knowledge of new ways of working and agile methodologies.

Structured approach to problem solving and experimentation, including ability to deliver outcomes.

Strong leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring to motivate and inspire team performance.

Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities to influence and support cultural change in a complex organisation and fast paced IT environment.
