About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Delivery Manager to oversee multiple projects, manage escalations and risk remediation, and provide oversight for vendors. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of projects and maintaining strong relationships with our internal clients and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the overall program delivery and project management, analytics, and reporting for our Investment Services Technology team.Establish and lead project governance, including the development and maintenance of project plans, status reports, issue and action logs, and scope and requirements documents.Manage a portfolio of CTB (Change the Bank) and RTB (Run the Bank) projects with predictable consistency, efficiency, and success.Ensure adequate planning, execution, and reporting on the PMO tool. Ensure all records on finance, SOWs, and project reporting are accurate. Ensure Tech and Business outcomes are defined and accurately reported.Plan, organize, and direct the completion of specific projects while ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and within scope.Actively manage and control activities to optimize technology risk and resilience related to application technology. Engage with application owners and senior leadership, ensuring active issue management and facilitating decision-making.Develop professional relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the right engagement and alignment is achieved.Provide oversight and management of outsourcing vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards.Act as a central point of contact for project management, coordinating with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.Handle management escalations effectively, providing timely resolutions and maintaining a high level of service.Prepare and present regular reports on project status, risk assessments, and vendor performance to senior management.Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.Experience in financial services or a related industry, with a proven track record in IT program management and leading change programs.Proven experience in project management, preferably with certification (PMI, PRINCE2, etc.).Strong background in risk management and vendor oversight.Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Fluent communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to engage effectively with leadership executives and stakeholders.About State Street
