IT Deployment Coordinator
Compensation Range $30.00 - $33.00 / Hour Position Overview: Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office, with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Deployment Coordinator to join our Restaurant Systems Technology team. This role is essential in supporting the successful launch of new restaurant locations by coordinating IT installations, managing hardware logistics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors. Here’s more of what you’ll get to do: Analyze kitchen and electrical blueprints for The Cheesecake Factory and North Italia sites to mark up POS and computer placements and create IT rack data layouts. Serve as the liaison between the IT, Development Department and on-site trades (electrical, data, stainless steel, millwork), providing plans and answering questions to ensure timely and accurate construction completion prior to hardware installation. Collaborate with Development and Operations to update design plans as needed. Coordinate and manage IT setup tasks and calendars for New Restaurant Openings (NROs). Purchase, inventory, ship, and track hardware for NROs. Build, configure, ship, install, and test back-office computers for NROs. Travel multiple times per year (1–2 weeks at a time) for on-site IT installations and testing. Provide remote support for NROs from training through mock service and opening day. Maintain and update NRO Turnover Manuals and documentation as systems and processes evolve. Manage departmental projects by creating project plans, scopes of work (SOWs), and deployment processes for internal teams and vendors. Support hardware and software ordering for Technology Lifecycle Program (TLP) projects. Assist with imaging and configuration of back-office/POS and CCdriver TLPs. Help manage project financials, including budgets, CAPEX, invoices, and actuals. Keep leadership informed with timely status updates. What we require: Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-changing environment. Project management experience with excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with Windows desktop operating systems. Basic understanding of low-voltage data, cabling, and connectivity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Tenacious, curious, and adaptable mindset. Willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Ability to build strong relationships across departments and with external partners. Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 lbs.
