This position involves supporting desktop technology, managing IT resources, and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge as well as excellent communication skills, working closely with both technical staff and end users to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include: + Supporting the effective acquisition, installation, maintenance, and use of desktop technology. + Installing and troubleshooting hardware and software. + Participating in vulnerability patching of selected lab systems. + Communicating with lab owners and technical staff to maintain configuration management databases and active directories. + Upgrading legacy Windows systems to the current version. + Attending update meetings and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. + Administering end-user requests and managing IT projects. + Coordinating resources to resolve issues in a timely manner.
