**IT Engagement Manager**
**Role Definition:**
This role is viewed as the Business Unit CIO for RISST organization. The leader is accountable to provide technology solutions aligned with the Business Unit strategy and objectives. They lead a team of managers, individual contributors along with provide matrixed leadership to IT COE teams providing technical services. Leader is actively involved in developing business aligned solutions, prioritizing resources, negotiating contracts, and providing guidance. This role is critically positioned in the organization to ensure the IT strategic priorities are focused on creating and/or protecting value.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Develop and foster strong relationships and communications with key customers, and other functional teams.
+ Provide thought leadership to proactively solve business challenges and issues.
+ Create and maintain processes and mechanisms for monitoring and maintaining IT service availability, reliability, performance, and cost.
+ Prioritize IT resources to ensure delivery of most important business demands.
**Top Candidates Will Have:**
+ **Strategy development & execution.** Experience leading, developing, socializing, and executing IT strategies and roadmaps in an overly complex environment.
+ **Relationship Management:** Collaborating and managing partner and peer relationships to achieve business outcomes by leading through influence and direct accountability in a matrixed environment.

+ **Software engineering & development:** Designing and building digital and technology solutions that strengthen the core business and pioneer the future with expanded offerings that grow services.

+ **Operational support:** Supporting global, large scale manufacturing operations and aftermarket business models in a matrixed support structure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
+ **Talent Management:** Adept at leading and inspiring global, multi-sourced teams to deliver high quality, transformational capabilities.

**Education/Experience:** Degree or equivalent experience desired

+ The primary location for this position is **Tucson, AZ.**
+ This role requires 5 days onsite.
+ This position is eligible for stock or other equity grants pursuant to Caterpillar's long-term incentive plan.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$169,320.00 - $253,920.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
