The IT (End User Services) expert is responsible for managing day-to-day IT support activities related to End User technologies for Korea sites. End User technologies include desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications—such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive—and supporting IT infrastructures in collaboration with the global IT team. This role is expected to achieve objectives by providing incident management along with the technical and functional knowledge necessary to resolve technical problems. The individual will also work closely with local business units and regional/global IT teams.
Your Role:
Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for all Korea sites through the IT support line (ITSM tool, calls, chat, and email).Install, configure, and support end user equipment, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, wireless PDAs, MPS, label printers, and others.Facilitate staff onboarding and offboarding.Collaborate with global teams to resolve complex IT-related issues and implement local and global projects.Support problem management and escalation management by handling inquiries and escalations from end users.Assist with IT lifecycle management, asset management, and license management.Provide smart hands support to the global infrastructure team, telecom, network, and server teams.Communicate with end users regarding local outages, service degradation, planned downtime activities, and global initiatives impacting local end users.Engage in innovation activities such as process improvements, pilots, and proofs of concept (PoCs).Be available to travel within Korea, with occasional day trips to other site offices.
Who You Are:
Associate's degree with 5+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of IT experience, including support for end user technologies such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Office 365).Hands-on experience in IT technologies, including basic networking, server hardware, Microsoft Active Directory, telephony solutions, cloud computing, and DNS.Collaborative work experience on IT projects with local and global teams.Effective troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop or improve solutions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both business and IT stakeholders.Experience with ITSM tools or ITIL certification is a plus.Experience in the manufacturing industry of a multinational company is a plus.
