What you’ll do

 

Design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard client networks, systems, and data against cyber threats and unauthorized access. Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on network and security best practices, technologies, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions into existing infrastructure and applications, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance. Monitor network traffic, security alerts, and incident reports to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer sessions for clients and internal teams to promote awareness of security threats and best practices. Provide training, mentorship, and support to team members on automation tools, techniques, and best practices Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and software developers to identify automation opportunities, define requirements, and architect scalable automation frameworks

 

What you’ll need

 

12+ years’ experience in managing, maintaining and troubleshooting large enterprise environments Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Proven experience in network engineering, security architecture, and cybersecurity roles, with a focus on designing and implementing complex network and security solutions. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP stack, VPN technologies, routing and switching concepts, and network architecture principles. Proficiency in network and security-related protocols and standards (e.g., SSL/TLS, IPsec, DNSSEC, SNMP, OAuth). Hands-on experience with Azure networking services, including Azure Virtual Network, Azure Virtual Network Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Firewall Strong understanding of SD-WAN principles, architectures, and deployment models. Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki products, including MX Security Appliances, MS Switches, and MR Wireless Access Points. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Hands-on experience with network devices and platforms from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, and F5 Networks. Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), JNCIA_SEC  Security, Associate, JNCIA-DC: Data Center, Check Point Certified Security Administrator certification CCSA, Zscaler Admin certification.
