IT GIS Systems Engineer (Hybrid)
This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.
Our Team
The IT GIS Systems Engineer is responsible for working on projects that are currently being developed on by our company. Duties will include but are not limited to developing and directing GIS ESRI / ArcFM software system validation and testing methods, as well as directing our software programming initiatives. IT GIS Software Engineer will also be working closely with clients and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.
Responsibilities include defining system functionality and writing code in various languages, like Java, Ruby on Rails or .NET programming languages (e.g. C++ or JScript.NET.). Employees should be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
Ultimately, the role of the GIS Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
Essential Functions:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceAdvanced Degree in a related field preferredExperience:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experienceRequires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. GIS Technology are ESRI/ ArcFM Desktop, ArcPro, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, ArcFM Web including Geocortex, Graphical Job Design, Collector, Navigator, Survey123 etc.
