IT HCM Application Functional Lead

Job Purpose                                       

IT HCM Application Functional Lead is responsible for overseeing Oracle HCM functional modules including maintenance and implementation of new features and global roll outs. This position serves as the strategic point of contact for Human Capital Management (HCM) with a primary focus on Core HR, Payroll, Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), Absence Management and Helpdesk operations. This role will collaborate with HR Shared Services, HR Governance and HR Workstream leads to align develop optimal solution for the organization and liaison with IT AMS teams to implement system improvements. This role will have a focused vision to assist HR business in addressing their most complex business challenges by adopting latest Oracle technologies and align with organization goals of adopting AI and improve productivity.

OPERATIONS 

In-depth understanding of functional aspects of Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Talent Management, Compensation, Recruiting and Onboarding Define, build and implement enhancements to HR processes that will improve HR function alignment to business objectives Collaborate with HR Shared Services and IT teams to support the system in sustainenance, enhancements and break fixes Collaborate with end users for requirement gathering, fit-gap and design for new roll-outs as well as feature implementation Drive HR technology implementations through planning, process design, configuration, user acceptance testing etc. Support and independently complete project tasks and maintain documentation like configuration workbook Evaluate new HCM feature releases and strive to improve system performance as well as end user efficiency Manage the redwood adoption roadmap across various modules Cross-functional collaboration with financial teams for ERP implementation Collaborate with HR and training teams to develop change management strategies for HCM initiatives.  Conduct training sessions and workshops to drive user acceptance and adoption of new HCM technologies.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry with a strong focus on Oracle HCM solutions Proven experience with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle HCM Cloud End-to-end HCM Solution Design Business Process Analysis Ability to work on a project from start to finish with very little input and guidance from their supervisor and able to document progress as well as the solution for future changes Self-starter with solid interpersonal skills, projecting a very positive customer-service-oriented attitude Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines Change Management, thinking with an open mind willing to step outside of what feels comfortable or normal Security and Compliance Vendor Management Continuous Improvement, learning from failures, celebrating small and large victories, and thinking outside the box

Preferred Skills: Certifications in Oracle HCM Cloud. Experience with Oracle HCM integrations and Redwood migration. Familiarity with project management methodologies. Familiarity with financial structures that have interdepency with HR structures
