The IT Helpdesk Technician possesses technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, with a deep understanding of computer technology and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
The mission of the IT Helpdesk Technician is to provide exceptional customer service to Vendasta employees on all relevant IT Helpdesk tickets, inquiries, and related duties. They demonstrate a deep understanding of computer technology, possess strong technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
Your Impact:
Customer Support:Provide friendly, prompt and efficient technical support to users via chat, email, and in-person channels
Conduct training sessions for users, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to utilize technology effectively
Documentation:
Document and track all support requests thoroughly, ensuring efficient follow-up and resolution
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices Hardware & Software Maintenance:
Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues accurately and effectively
Prepare, configure, and maintain user computer hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and security
Manage and monitor computer networks, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues
What you bring to the table:
Understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and network protocols Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with a systematic and analytical approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues and end-users Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Bachelor's or associate's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and 1+ years of experience preferred.
