IT HR System Analyst Co-op
WHAT YOU'LL DO

​​The IT HR Systems Analyst Co-Op is a position within BCG’s HR Integrations Product team.  The HR Integrations team is a technical group that works with a broad and diverse group of stakeholders across BCG's many functional areas on interface requests to enable HR data to be shared securely, consistently, and accurately between different systems using standard, integration patterns. The primary function of the team is to supports the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support and maintenance cycles of the many integrations with our Workday HR product.

​The Co-Op will take direction from the HR Integrations Product Owner, Scrum Lead, and Business Analysts on the teams on the request intake process, gathering and documenting user requirements and triaging integration support issues for integration developers. To be successful in this role, the Co Op will have a technical background and strong analysis skills that will allow you to engage in conversations to support integrations and work with developers. This individual must be well organized and detail oriented, and able to adapt to changing needs and expectations with a strong desire to learn about systems and processes. 


YOU'RE GOOD AT

​​The IT HR Systems Analyst Co-op will assist in a variety of tasks including:

​Support:  The role will partner with various members of the Integrations team to triage and respond to support questions, enhancement and /or maintenance requests.  The role will also help with analyzing and troubleshooting user reported integration problems and use problem solving skills to determine root cause of issues. May also help with logging and managing tickets with different support teams.  

​Requirements Gathering:  Using tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Jira software, the role will assist with the documentation of initial request requirements. 

​Coordinating with others: The role will help coordinate and follow up with the HR Integration BA’s to go through the sprint cycle process step by step.  

​Special Project Work: This role will assist the Product Owner and Scrum Lead with coming up with solutions to organize existing request information to make the request intake process more efficient. To support this effort, this role will be responsible for tracking and reporting on requests and incidents reported by end users in ServiceNow. 


YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2025 co-op cycle​Ability to organize work in a logical manner  ​Analytical skills  ​Attention to detail  ​Ability to work independently on specific tasks  ​Ability to adapt to changing needs  ​Ability to present information in a logical, clear and visually pleasing manner (e.g. in PowerPoint) and ask questions ​Experience with Microsoft Excel is required  ​Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is preferred  ​Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with BCG’s values and culture.  ​Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program. Current college/university must have an existing co-op partnership with BCG's Global Services organization and recognize full-time employment as academic credit that will be part of the student's official transcript  ​Must meet the co-op program eligibility requirements of the current college/university's academic department and student must be approved by the college/university to participate in the co-op program  ​Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle   ​Must be authorized to work in the United States
YOU'LL WORK WITH
​​The HR Integrations Team consists of a Product Owner, Technical Lead, Scrum Lead, multiple Business Analysts, Developers and Testers that are part of an Agile team structure at BCG. You will collaborate across all areas the tight knit group. The Co-Op will take direction from the HR Integrations Product Owner, Scrum Lead, and Lead Business Analyst on the teams.​
