The IT Information Security Intern is responsible for working with the manufacturing operations teams to understand their processes and develop new security practices and policies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Interact in a security setting with both IT and Operation Technology teams + Work with and interview numerous levels of the company + Understand how operations and IT both influence and assist one another and how differences can be resolved. The essential requirements of the job include: + Working towards a Bachelor of Sciences in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field + Relevant information security industry knowledge is a plus. + High level understanding of security frameworks, standards, best practices (e.g. NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and security assessment tools and methodologies + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Must work onsite in Lodi, CA It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Course work in information Security practices + Experience in a manufacturing or clean room environment. The hourly rate for this role is $30.
